Change in this life is not something that gives you chew, it cost me 23 years and 3 months in jail, confinement, and loneliness, in endless hours of gloom and sadness.
Without thinking, I became a legend, a piece of Colombian history, a page that is not exactly what you want to promote “the only hit-man in a poster of Medellín cartel alive and free who served his sentence and left prison.” Sure, there are some who think that it is preferable to hide and forget about that reality.
My decision is to die as a legend, but not as the Sicario of the ’80s, but as an entrepreneur, a person who was forgiven and re-socialized and for the rest of his days will show that he is a berraco, that he knows how to make a living, that he is regretful and that deserves to become POPEYE LEGEND.

The crimes of the Medellin Cartel weigh, like yesterday, on my shoulders. My youth lost in crime became the sword that hangs over my gray head.
For the world, I will always be alias “Popeye,” the sniper of the fearsome Cartel of Medellin, the man who had the confidence of Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria… How to tell them that I am a new man… that 23 years imprisoned in this hell transformed the man I was.
